This is my personal experience. While everyone’s journey with Womb Hara Massage is unique, this is what unfolded for me physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

I was freshly off of my bleed for a day, just 2 days away from moving to a new town 6 hours up north, and 3 months postpartum with my 3rd when I received my first Womb Hara massage. I had no idea how transformational the experience would end up being. The ambiance was out of a dream. A beautiful tent out in nature, early morning Life just waking up, hearing the birds chirp, sun peaking through, a chill through the air. Inside the tent, incense was burning and soft, healing music playing. Kennedy explained what we would be doing throughout the session making me feel as comfortable as possible. As she stepped away, I undressed and laid on the table and held a deep intention within me. To move through whatever is stuck in my womb, release and feel what needs to be felt, and experience an emotional and physical transformation.
We started face down on the table and Kennedy began slowly waking up my upper body. Her techniques are intuitive and she has a unique way of reading the body that provides so much release and unraveling in the tissues. I was reminded of the medicine that is Touch. As the session progressed, I became deeply relaxed and comfortable. My mind was settling and I knew I was on a journey. When it came time to flip over, Kennedy placed an eye mask on me and were ready to go a bit deeper into the abdomen and womb space.
There were areas I felt extra tension and visions and memories would come to surface. Between Kennedy’s healing hands, and her reiki and energetic work, I had so many realizations and epiphanies. It was like a movie from Spirit playing in my head. I felt like I was on a psychedelic trip. And not one like with a plant ceremony or birth, this one felt subtle and safe, and I was able to let go and release stored traumas in my womb.
When Kennedy started wrapping me in the linens, I thought, here we go, I am going in. Into Her. Into the Womb. The Void. The dark. Weighted eye mask on, even my face being wrapped, I felt the egoic word of “fear”. The thought. The sensation in my chest that felt even heavier. But then I knew I was safe, I am okay. The smell of incense burning, the sounds of nature and calm music playing, and Kennedy’s angelic energetic presence.
When she finally unwrapped me, and I first opened my eyes, I truly felt like a caterpillar coming out of my cocoon. A new baby into the world, from the darkness into the light. I was in the void for so long and now I’m here. I felt what it was like to truly be reborn, yet in a body and having conscious awareness of it.

It had me thinking of children. This might sound crazy and not resonate to some, but since I study the Soul it makes sense to me, the download was that, babies are the lost souls that women, when they are in labor, go and save from the underworld. We don’t remember it because we are saved by light. Light, Earth, the Mother saves us. She is the portal for our next opportunity, our next chance. From our Womb. We are Her. Born of Her. Here to serve, to save, to heal, to love. I walked out of the tent a new being that day. Reborn, like a new baby going home with her Mother, Earth, yet still remembering and honoring all that was before and truly embodied. Arriving into Earth with a purpose, a fresh perspective, a heavy weight lifted, Free.
