I know for us busy women it's so hard to do our hair, I try to do it a few times a week and go as long as possible without washing it! Thank you dry shampoo :D I've found out the easiest way to get it done fast is through just a few simple key things.
I blow dry my hair several times a week, and it usually takes me under 15 minutes quickly! This is just a regular blow dry to smooth out my hair and get dry with a little flip at the ends. I normally like it going under but it usually flips out lol. My main tips are SECTIONS, and the tools you use! I use the Dyson Supersonic which is super fast in drying! (I swear it cuts down my drying time by 5-10 min than a regular salon dryer), a LARGE round ceramic brush, and a great heat protectant (I like ones that aid in drying like this one by Kristin Ess!)
My hair is deceiving it looks like I have a lot of thick hair but in reality it's very fine. I have a lot but the individual strands are thin. I love trying new products so my shampoos and conditioners differ all the time but I DO notice such a difference with a lot of them in my blow dry and honestly that's how I know which shampoo and conditioners I like :)
I don't typically like to put in too much product before blow drying just so that it lasts longer. I notice when I use mousse. root stuff and oils it tends to get greasier faster. For this blow dry and most of my blowouts I like to use just a nice blow dry serum or heat protectant spray. I just used a few sprays of Kerastase Fluidissime, then went in with rough drying my hair about 65%.
I typically section the crown out first and clip away then do the two sides and take the back in 2-3 sections and that's it! I love Olivia Garden brushes for this type of quick blowdry I use the large brush you can find it here. And that's basically it! I like to top off with either a styling cream sometimes on the ends like this Leonor Greyl one or just a little light hairspray / shine spray like these two: Sparkling Soda Drybar, Caviar Working Hairspray. Hope you enjoy the how to tutorial here and this post! Please like, subscribe, and comment!
